Beatrice is the culmination of all the architectural and garden details sketched on this trip. It’s a nod to tradition done up in modern color combinations. Everywhere I looked on the Cote d’Azur there was beautiful detail. Carved trims inside and out, formal gardens, fountains, grottos…one view more enticing than the next. I felt like I’d stepped back in time into a Slim Aarons photo and another era.
